staring at a blank

there are times

when we catch our own self

staring…

just staring…

and staring…

at a blank

while we are at it or at not the most intense moments of it, we see or sense that the subtle becomes stark … we can sometimes feel our pulse, or the repetitive micro-movement of our head or sense our heartbeat or the posture….sometimes the things outside appear to fade or melt their boundaries.

we experience this for some moments and then we are pulled back into our routines.

sometimes when we are at it or afterwards,

we can meditate and see that our daily-dally of interactions and transactions entails a flood of foreground-background, binaries, etc,

however cultivating a practice of often “staring at a blank” could lend us a different sense of our being in this existence….of seeing-sensing the waves of our “i”, “i want” , “i know”, “i experiences” and more amidst this vast ocean of existence.
